Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Avoid drinking grapefruite while taking this medicine.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not exceed recommended dose or take this medicine for longer than prescribed. Exceeding the recommended dose or taking this medicine for longer than prescribed may be habit-forming. This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness. This medicine may add effects of other medicines and alcohol. Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines can cause drowsiness.
Possible side effects
Side effects may include excessive daytime drowsiness, unusual weakness, dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, clumsiness, or unsteadiness. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
Additional Information
Taking Xanax with CAFFEINE may result in not working as well for you. This medicine may interact with certain foods. These foods containing caffeine include but are not limited to coffee, soft drinks, and chocolate. It is recommended to avoid or reduce caffeine at night time if you are taking Xanax to help you sleep.
